Vice President, Shopping Centers
As Vice President of Shopping Centers at STNL Development, Amy Wood leads the expansion and growth, strategic direction, profitability and operational excellence of the company’s growing property portfolio. She works across the property management and leasing divisions, overseeing contractors and collaborating closely with development, finance and accounting teams.
Amy brings 29 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, property management, and development across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles including President of Bond Street Advisors and Carolina Real Estate, Vice President of RealOp Investments, and Director of Property Management — where she oversaw ground-up development of big box retail and grocery-anchored centers. At The Shopping Center Group, she managed a large REIT portfolio of primarily grocery-anchored centers while directing a team of 25 property managers across four states.
Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in real estate management from Peirce College and earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in Georgia, a Broker-in-Charge in South Carolina, and a CCIM candidate.
Outside the office, Amy volunteers with Street Wise, a Georgia nonprofit helping low-income individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency and supports local law enforcement and dog rescues in the Carolinas. She loves to travel and spend time with her two daughters, two grandsons and a third grandson on the way.
